Our story

In 2013 Kate moved to Lilongwe, Malawi after growing up in Australia to work as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Aid Volunteer Program.

Humphreys was born and grew up in Lilongwe and had been serving on the staff team at Flood Church for 5 years when we met.

We met through Flood Church in 2014 and began dating in June 2015.

Humphreys asked Kate to marry him on May 22nd 2016.

We bought land together in an area just outside of Lilongwe at the end of 2016. We celebrated our engagement with Australian family and friends in December 2016
